Concrete Vehicles [ehemals bekannt als Computer] ist eine in Vancouver ansässige siebenköpfige Formation, die Chaos, Präzision und eine vielschichtige Instrumentierung – mit Saxofon, Synthesizern und vielschichtigen Drums – miteinander verbindet.
Die Mischung aus kreischenden Saxofonklängen, einem an Bright Eyes erinnernden Stimmvibrato und eingängigen Refrains klingt der Titel nach klassischem Indie-Rock – ist dabei aber zugleich experimentierfreudig genug, um dem in den Pressemitteilungen versprochenen Label „Experimental Rock“ vollauf gerecht zu werden.

Concrete Vehicles [formerly known as Computer] is a seven-piece band based in Vancouver that blends chaos, precision and a multi-layered instrumental sound – featuring saxophone, synthesisers and complex drumming.
With its blend of screeching saxophone sounds, a vocal vibrato reminiscent of Bright Eyes and catchy choruses, the track sounds like classic indie rock – yet is at the same time experimental enough to fully live up to the ‘experimental rock’ label promised in the press releases.
